AP Psychology Testbook Adoption Review Period Banks County High School is looking to increase our Advanced Placement (AP) course offerings for the 2025-2026 school year by adding AP Psychology. Through a thorough process of review and analysis, AMSCO Advanced Placement Edition Psychology has been selected as the textbook for this course.

New Access Procedures for Banks County Primary and Banks County Elementary In a continued effort to enhance safety and security for students and staff, Banks County Schools will be implementing new access procedures at Banks County Primary School and Banks County Elementary School beginning this school year.
Distraction Free Learning In response to new state legislation (HB 340) and the negative impact cell phones and other personal electronic devices have on student learning, Banks County Board of Education is establishing a policy prohibiting the use of all personal electronic devices by students in grades K-12 from the first bell at the start of school each morning to the last dismissal bell at the end of the school day.
Important Update: Annual Student Record Update Temporarily Paused Banks County Schools is currently pausing the Annual Student Record Update process for the 2025–2026 school year. This temporary pause is necessary to allow time for updates to all student handbooks in order to reflect recent changes to state laws.
