Julie was recognized for creatively integrating agricultural literacy into daily classroom lessons. To celebrate her achievement, Banks County Farm Bureau President and Board of Education Member William Reems and Women’s Committee member Candice Looney presented her with a $500 check and an Ag in the Classroom activity kickstart basket.
Joining her in the presentation were Deputy Superintendent Michael Williams, BCPS Principal Dr. Michael Boyle, BCPS Teacher & Farm Bureau Women's Committee Member Candice Looney, and Office Manager & Youth Programs Coordinator Julie Jackson.
