Academic Support Tools in Use: i-Ready and IXL

The Banks County School System is dedicated to delivering high-quality instruction and academic support to all students. To support this goal, we utilize two powerful online platforms—i-Ready and IXL—to enhance learning and increase student achievement across all grade levels.

I-Ready is a diagnostic and instructional tool that provides personalized learning pathways in reading and mathematics. It helps teachers identify individual student strengths and areas for growth through adaptive assessments. With this data, educators can tailor instruction to meet each student’s needs, monitor progress over time, and provide targeted interventions to close learning gaps.

IXL offers comprehensive, standards-aligned practice in math, language arts, science, and social studies. It allows students to build mastery through engaging, skill-specific activities and provides immediate feedback to support learning. IXL also provides teachers with real-time insights into student performance, enabling them to adjust instruction and reinforce critical concepts.

Together, i-Ready and IXL play a key role in our instructional program by:
