Banks County Schools officially kicked off the 2026-2027 academic year by welcoming 22 new teachers to the Leopard family during a dynamic two-day New Teacher Induction event.

Banks County High School will host Leopard Pounce on Wednesday, July 29, from 8:15–11:15 a.m. This is a student-only event for rising 9th graders.

Banks County High School has released two bell schedules for the 2026–2027 school year: the regular bell schedule and the Club/Advisement bell schedule. Parents, guardians, and students are encouraged to review both schedules carefully as we prepare for the upcoming school year.

Banks County High School is looking to increase our Advanced Placement (AP) course offerings for the 2026-2027 school year by adding AP American Government. Through a thorough process of review and analysis, American Government: Stories of a Nation has been selected as the textbook for this course.

Stakeholders are being provided with a review period that will conclude on 7/6/26.
