Safety Lockdown Drill April 15, 2025

Banks County High School will conduct a lockdown drill this morning, April 15, 2025.

Please be assured this is a routine safety exercise and is being carried out in close coordination with the Banks County Sheriff's Office to ensure that our schools remain safe for our students, staff, and community.

Public Sealed Bid: 2018 Toyota Highlander/2019 Toyota Sienna

The Banks County High School Automotive Department is auctioning two vehicles as a fundraiser for the program through a sealed bid process.

Georgia United Credit Union Foundation Announces First Educator Scholarship Recipient: Whittney LaHayne Banks County High School

Georgia United Credit Union Foundation, in partnership with Georgia United Credit Union, is excited to announce the first of five 2025 Georgia United Foundation Frank Thach EDUCATOR SCHOLARSHIP recipients, Mrs. Whittney LaHayne of Banks County High School. Whittney is pursuing an Education Specialist degree in Secondary Education from the University of West Georgia. LaHayne serves as the BCHS Head Volleyball Coach and is also a vital part of the CTAE Business program at BCHS. Her career goal is to prepare students to enter an ever-changing job market with practical skills.

Dalton Gilmer Named Young Georgia Author Winner for RESA

Congratulations to Dalton Gilmer, a first grader at Banks County Primary School, for being named the Young Georgia Author winner for all first-grade students in our RESA district!

Dalton’s story, “A Time I Ate My Favorite Food,” captured the judges’ hearts and earned him first place. We are so proud of Dalton for representing Banks County with creativity and heart!
