Banks County Schools is proud to announce that we will be partnering with ESE Telehealth for the upcoming school year. This partnership will enable students to participate in acute and mental healthcare through telehealth capabilities. We understand the obstacles many of our families encounter in accessing ongoing healthcare for our students.

988 is the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the U.S.—a free, 24/7 line for anyone experiencing emotional distress, suicidal thoughts, a mental health or substance-use crisis, or worried about someone else.
How it works (no cost, confidential):
  • Call 988 to speak with a trained counselor.
  • Text 988 to message with a counselor.
  • Chat at 988lifeline.org.
  • Press 1 for the Veterans & Service Members line.
  • Press 2 for Spanish.
  • Press 3 for specialized LGBTQI+ support for young people.
ASL users can connect via 988 ASL services; TTY users can dial 711, then 988.
Help is available in English, Spanish, and through interpreter services for many other languages.
