The Banks County Middle School Junior FFA team has secured a second-place finish in the Environmental Natural Resources (ENR) Career Development Event (CDE), highlighting the exceptional agricultural talent and preparation within the district.
The four-member student team—comprising Addison Boyer, Stella Dalton, Micah Tate Milford, and Cana Jo Milford—earned top honors through rigorous preparation and a deep demonstration of skills honed through the school’s Agricultural Education program. The team was guided by BCMS FFA advisor Kellie Daniel.
The competition tests students on a wide array of environmental and natural resource concepts, requiring extensive study and practical application.
“The time and effort spent studying and practicing for this event were evident,” said Amanda Keener, North Georgia Forestry Teacher. “I am very proud of the teachers and students who worked hard to demonstrate the knowledge and skills learned in this particular area of Agricultural Education.”
