During their visit, students engaged with multiple legislators and gained valuable insight into the legislative process by observing a live session. The experience provided an up-close look at how state government works and how decisions are made that impact communities, schools, and agriculture throughout Georgia.
The group also had the privilege of meeting Banks County’s district legislators, Representative Chris Erwin and Senator Bo Hatchett, who took time to visit with students and discuss the importance of supporting student leadership organizations like FFA.
Students who attended included:
-
Jabe Andrews
-
Catie Cochran
-
Logan Ferguson
-
Zoie Kelly
-
Levi Ventrice
-
Luke Wheatley
Banks County High School is proud of these students for representing Leopard Nation with professionalism and pride. Special thanks to Representative Erwin and Senator Hatchett for their continued support of our students and our FFA program.
