At its November meeting, the Banks County Board of Education honored students who were selected based on outstanding achievement on their fall and midterm assessments. This school year, the system is recognizing learners who demonstrated exceptional performance on i-Ready, Lennections, and Canvas assessments—tools aligned to the Georgia Standards of Excellence and used to monitor mastery of grade-level standards throughout the year.
Banks County High School recognized four students for their outstanding performance on Early Mid Term assessments in core academic areas:
- Isabelle Brazis – Highest Score, Lennections Algebra I Early Mid Term
- Mason Caudell – Perfect Score, Lennections Literature and Composition Early Mid Term
- Hunter Herrig – Highest Score, Lennections U.S. History Early Mid Term
- Michael Newell – Highest Score, Canvas Biology Early Mid Term
Banks County Middle School honored students who earned the highest scores on the i-Ready Diagnostic Assessments in reading and math for their grade levels:
- Warrick Ryker Mitchell – Highest Score, 6th Grade Reading (i-Ready Diagnostic)
- Luke Whitlock – Highest Score, 6th Grade Math (i-Ready Diagnostic)
- Logan Couch – Highest Score, 7th Grade Math (i-Ready Diagnostic)
- Kiralyn Hannant – Highest Score, 7th Grade Reading (i-Ready Diagnostic)
- Allyn Mack – Highest Score, 8th Grade Math (i-Ready Diagnostic)
- Lyla Cherveny – Highest Score, 8th Grade Reading (i-Ready Diagnostic)
At Banks County Elementary School, students were recognized for earning the highest scores in their grade level on the i-Ready assessments for English Language Arts (ELA) and Math:
- Jayden Benitez-Hernandez – Highest Score in 3rd Grade ELA as measured by i-Ready
- Mason Hobbs – Highest Score in 3rd Grade Math as measured by i-Ready
- Mila Bindyu – Highest Score in 4th Grade ELA as measured by i-Ready
- Katherine Graham – Highest Score in 4th Grade Math as measured by i-Ready
- Aela Williams – Highest Score in 5th Grade ELA as measured by i-Ready
- Bradley Lomax – Highest Score in 5th Grade Math as measured by i-Ready
Banks County Primary School celebrated its youngest learners for earning the highest Beginning-of-Year i-Ready scores in their grade levels:
- William Collins – Highest Beginning-of-Year Score, i-Ready Kindergarten
- Jameson Moore – Highest Beginning-of-Year Score, i-Ready Kindergarten
- Saylor Blalock – Highest Beginning-of-Year Score, i-Ready Kindergarten
- Owen Armour – Highest Beginning-of-Year Score, i-Ready 1st Grade
- Jaycee Evans – Highest Beginning-of-Year Score, i-Ready 1st Grade
- Natalee Nicholson – Highest Beginning-of-Year Score, i-Ready 1st Grade
- Sadie Wells – Highest Beginning-of-Year Score, i-Ready 2nd Grade
- Joseph Krause – Highest Beginning-of-Year Score, i-Ready 2nd Grade
