Wes WhitfieldPost 2
Term expires: December 31st, 2020 Mr. Whitfield assumed Post 2 on January 1st of 2013. Mr. Whitfield is a life-long resident of Banks County and a 1987 graduate of Banks County High School. He has strong ties to the community and the school system. He has two children who attend school in the district and both his mother and wife are both employed by the school district. Mr. Whitfield is employed with Upstate Curb, Inc. in Homer, Georgia. |
Atha DaltonPost 4
Term expires: December 31st, 2020 Ms. Dalton assumed Post 4 on January 1st of 2013. She is a professional actress and often conducts historical educational presentations as an 1860's civilian and participates in Civil War Re-enactments and Confederate Memorial Services. Mrs. Dalton also does film production work such as location scouting, production coordination, extras casting, and other jobs related to film & video work. Additionally, she owns a part-time photography business. She is attended Wills High School in Smyrna. Mrs. Dalton graduated from Piedmont College with honors with a B.A. double major in History and Psychology. She has lived in Banks County since 1990 and attends Harmony Baptist Church. She is married to Dr. Len Dalton. The two have six grown sons together. |
Shane RobertsPost 5
Vice-Chairman Term expires: December 31st, 2022 Mr. Roberts has served Banks County on the Board of Education since January 1, 2011 and represents Post 5. He is a lifelong resident of Banks County and an alumnus of BCHS Class of 1994. In 1999, Mr. Roberts earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University. Mr. Robert's wife, Alisha, is also an alumnus of BCHS and is a 1st grade teacher for the school system. He has three children currently attending Banks County Schools. |
