Governor Brian Kemp recently issued an executive order closing all Georgia public K-12 schools through the end of this school year. As a result, Banks County Schools will remain closed through the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. Please continue to check the school websites and social media for updates concerning assignments, as well as information regarding celebrations for seniors. We look to schedule these as soon as it is safe to do so.

Governor Kemp has issued an executive order mandating schools be closed for the remainder of the year. While we are disheartened and sad, we recognize the necessity in this mandate for the health and welfare of our community. Teachers will be sending home information regarding assignments and our Home Learning Opportunity. Our plan is to host graduation and other celebratory events as soon as it is safe to do so. We will continue with our food distribution for as long as it is feasible and safe to do so. Please continue to monitor the system website and social media for further updates and continue to adhere to all safety recommendations and stay well. We are all in this together!
